Feathered friends
The long winter evenings without TV can be a most creative time of year and between painting a draw full of feathers from road kill finds can provide a humorous interlude.
I have been collecting feathers for years, natures casualties are every where but most commonly alongside our roads. These bird pictures are inspired by those produced during the Regency period in England but I make no attempt to recreate real living species preferring the art of invention which perhaps gives the humorous element.
